Establishing a new downtown presence for a beloved local bookstore.

When the indie bookstore, Posman Books, expanded from its original Chelsea Market location to  Brookfield Place in Battery Park City, they required thoughtful design to marry their funky, colorful branding to the buttoned-up style of the mall’s common space.

A visitor’s first impression of the store is formed by the open, light, and uncluttered glass storefront. It picks up on the crisp, minimal details of the surrounding atrium, while allowing the vibrant lime-green interior features to shine through and draw in shoppers.
